i'm by no means a blogger.... but i'm giving into this new societal norm.... my inspiration comes in the awesomeness that is sal bono, a "cool" guy i work with and you should "read his shit." sal is music. he's basically a music nerd, don't hate. we're actually both nerds, except i don't wear my glasses. he also likes movies and long walks on the beach and i know his extension by heart.

sooo i moved to new york to make my dreams come true, and so far i got nothin'
my life since moving to new york:
1. i have a full-time job...i need a vacation from my mind, it's quite a shocking change from college life to full-time job life. is it really necessary for anyone to work this much? it's mind dumbing. maybe if i were using the creative part of my brain at least some small percentage of my work day, all would be well during the typical 9-5. but i doubt it... such is the case with journalistic ventures and the need to sit at your desk for 10 hours and make phone calls to people that just lost their middle child to an unusual case drowning in a swamp after a night of drinking. but apparently i'm good at it. i'm on salary. and more than once i've been told by these said families that they get a good feeling from me... they trust me...they can open up to me. i want to be on air.
2. i was almost arrested? yes. i'm by no means a violent person. my spotless record was almost ruined by a stupid, girly roommate, pant less fight. hot? yes, but serious, nonetheless. this is what happens when people push you far beyond your comfort zone and lie to the nypd, who i'm sure were oh so happy to respond to a fight that screamed resolution by a male father figure. the police left but only after we were scolded and told to apologize to one another. so mature. you learn more from it, but you never forget. update: my roommate and i are now on good terms, even great if i dare say, but to be completely honest: i don't plan on living there when our 1 year lease ends. crazy crazy crazyyyyy.
3. had my first photo shoot. thank god for great friends. i obviously brought a friend, "muscle," with me to the shoot because you just can't be too careful these days. the shoot went great, i'm alive and not chopped up in little pieces, and so hopefully my dreams of becoming a model are well on the way to coming true. at my job, i've made so many contacts, so i may have let it "slip" that i'm a model..or looking to be one...to a modeling agency we regularly work with.
4. i've met plenty of interesting boys. or men. aren't they all the same? before moving here i was in a never ending, extremely wrong relationship. now i'm single, and not really sure what to think of these characters i keep meeting. will discuss later.
and now...all that being said: i am a blogger. stay tuned.
Who is this Sal character? He seems really awesome....
